Build a router machine

1, On windows, enable the routing.

• Start Registry Editor (REGEDT32.EXE) and go to the following subkey:

        HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip
        \Parameters
  

• From the Edit menu, choose Add Value.
• Enter the following values:
  Value Name: IpEnableRouter
  Data Type: REG_DWORD
  Value: 1
• Exit Registry Editor and restart Windows

2, enable the service ” routing and remote access”

3, start, type ncpa.cpl, right click the connection which is connected to internet, click properties, they choose the ” share ” tab, then check the option “Allow other network user…” then click OK.

Connect the client machine to the router machine

click start, type ncpa.cpl. right click the connection choose properties, TCP/ipv4, assign a IP address within the same subnet with the router machine, use the router machine’s IP address as the default gateway. DNS server point to the DNS server which is used by the router machine.click OK.
